Steinway & Sons and New York City is perhaps one of the most iconic pairings of music and place the world has ever known. Steinway & Sons is a New York original, founded in a Manhattan loft 170 years ago and today synonymous with a uniquely New York brand of elegance, style, and exquisite artistic expression. Since 1853, Steinway’s pioneering handcrafted methods have ensured uncompromising standards of quality, in turn ensuring that the Steinway remains the peerless instrument of uncompromising expression. From legendary artists performing onstage at Carnegie Hall to factory artisans overlooking Bowery Bay, New Yorkers have always been in love with Steinway. And the feeling is mutual. This special Valentine’s Day Festival of Music brings the unmistakable sounds of Steinwayto John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal 4 through the hands of some of New York’s most talented artists.

New York City pianists have been taking center stage in JFK T4’s Retail Hall and delivering showstopping performances for travelers, telling a ‘New York love story’ through their music. Performances featuring local pianists will be running through February 16.
