Singapore Airlines has announced the restoration of flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Frankfurt, with continuing service to Singapore, starting on November 2, 2021.  The move follows the Biden Administration’s recent relaxation of travel restrictions between the United States and Europe.  In addition, SIA will resume nonstop flights from San Francisco International Airport to Hong Kong, also with continuing service to Singapore, commencing on November 2.

With these restored flights, SIA has rebuilt approximately 65 percent of its pre-Covid roster of flight frequencies from the U.S.  Additional reinstatements, including services from the carrier’s Seattle and Houston (IAH) gateways, remain part of SIA’s future plans as operating and regulatory conditions permit.

“We are very pleased to announce this reestablishment of connectivity from the U.S. to two of SIA’s key 5th Freedom destinations, Frankfurt and Hong Kong,” said Joey Seow, Regional Vice President – Americas for the carrier.  “In addition, both flights provide our customers with the option of continuing service to Singapore, where they can also connect to a range of business and leisure destinations.”

The schedule expansion also marks the return of SIA’s award-winning First Class product to both the New York and San Francisco markets for the first time since the start of the pandemic.  SIA will utilize Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft on both routes, offering a four-cabin configuration including First Class (4 seats), Business Class (48 seats), Premium Economy Class (28 seats), and Economy Class (184 seats).

New York (JFK) – Frankfurt – Singapore Round-Trip Flight Schedule:

On November 1, flight SQ #26 will resume daily operations from Singapore to Frankfurt, continuing to JFK.  Flights depart SIN at 23:55 and arrive at FRA at 06:20 +1.  The flights continue to New York, departing FRA at 08:20 and arriving at JFK at 12:15.

On November 2, SQ #25 will resume daily operations from New York (JFK) to Frankfurt, and on-bound to Singapore.  Flights depart JFK at 21:15 and arrive in FRA
