SterlingRisk Aviation, a division of SterlingRisk Insurance (Woodbury, NY), has hired Travis J. Marshall as Vice President, Senior Account Executive. The announcement was made by SterlingRisk Aviation President Michael O’Donnell.

“Travis is well-respected in the aviation industry as an insurance professional committed to client service and maintaining strong customer relationships,” stated O’Donnell. “He has served in aviation since 2008, both on the aircraft and airport operations sides and as a commercial account manager in the aviation insurance sector since 2011. His considerable industry experience will help us identify growth opportunities and expand industry relationships. At a time when other companies are reducing staff and client resources, SterlingRisk Aviation remains steadfastly committed to hiring top professionals like Travis and providing a superior service product to our valued clients. Everyone here joins me in welcoming Travis and looks forward to his many contributions to our ongoing success.”

In his new role as Vice President, Senior Account Executive, Marshall will oversee accounts and account personnel, provide comprehensive advisory expertise, and facilitate audits and inspections to identify and mitigate client risks. Additionally, he will coordinate and communicate with underwriters and claims representatives; preserve and enhance operational efficiencies; and provide day-to-day servicing, marketing, and endorsing of policies while maintaining constant communication with clients.

Marshall comes to SterlingRisk Aviation from HUB International Northwest, LCC, which he joined in 2017 as a Commercial Account Manager. Prior positions and experience include serving as Underwriter at London Aviation Underwriters; Florida Sales Executive and Account Manager at NationAir Aviation Insurance; and providing airport operations and security services at Dayton Beach International Airport. Marshall received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a Minor in Homeland Security, from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida, and holds a Property & Casualty Insurance License in addition to a Part 91 Private Pilot Certificate.

Headquartered in Destin, Florida, SterlingRisk Aviation provides a full suite of insurance and risk management programs to owners, operators, and managers of aviation-related assets and businesses, including commercial fixed and rotor-wing operators, corporate aircraft, instruction and rental fleets, fixed base operators, manufacturers and distributors of aviation-related products, maintenance repair and overhaul facilities, and aircraft leasing and financing entities.
